A few months ago I had a dream that causes something to wrench deep in my heart. I saw demonic forces that were loosed on the earth. I could see and hear thunders roaring across the sky. It looked like there was a war in the atmosphere. Though the evil force was great, the Lord is sending forth His angelic force that is far greater. I feel more convinced each day as I see what's happening both in the natural and spiritual that Jesus is emphasizing to his church what he said to his disciples, to be a light to the world. There is a desperate cry in my heart, 'Let your church arise Lord, use us to bring hope, give us your heart for the people around us. Let our eyes see the frown, the sadness, the hopelessness, the need. Let our minds be mindful of the people around us. Give us your heart for the people around us.'
The Lord is clearly instructing us to bring the light of his glory into the heart of the hurting world. I believe in these last days, there's going to be a visitation of his Spirit on the church that will cause the people of God to rise in strength and power. The time to rise and shine is NOW.
